Key Responsibilities as a Social Media Manager
As the Social Media Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our social media strategy. Your primary responsibilities will include:- Content Strategy: Develop engaging and innovative content strategies aligned with our brand goals. Create and manage a content calendar that reflects seasonal campaigns and product launches.
- Community Engagement: Foster community interactions by responding to customer inquiries and comments promptly across all platforms to build a loyal customer base.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and ensure goals are met. Use insights to adapt strategy where necessary.
- Campaign Management: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement social media campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and driving conversions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as PR, product, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and unified brand messaging strategy across all channels.
- Industry Research: Stay current with the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Brand Advocacy: Promote advocacy for Amazon’s various initiatives and projects across social channels, increasing awareness for social causes and brand-sponsored events.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have:- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or a similar role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Facebook Insights, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual content.
- Experience with social media advertising and experience managing paid campaigns.
